The newly elected Upper West Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have appointed ten persons to serve in various positions within the party’s regional administration.

The appointments, according to the Regional Secretariat, were made pursuant to Articles 9(2) and 10 of the NPP Constitution.

Among those appointed is Samsideen Saeed, who will serve as Regional Deputy Nasara Organizer, while Paaga Lilian has been appointed Regional Deputy Women Organizer. Mohammed Suleman is the new Regional Deputy Youth Organizer, with Joseph Sonnyuuro appointed Regional Financial Secretary.

The Regional Executives have also appointed Ibrahim Saani as Regional Deputy Organizer, Sumaila Bawiisi as Regional Research Officer and Gyengne Michael as Regional P.W.D. Coordinator.

Other appointees include Ahmed Mustapha, who will serve as Regional Electoral Affairs Officer, Abdul-Mujeeb Kele as Regional Legal Officer, and Mohammed Iddrisu as Regional Special Duties Officer.

In a statement signed by the Regional Secretary, Tanko Daniel Dawda (PhD), the Regional Secretariat said the appointments were aimed at filling the respective positions within the party’s regional structure.

The statement congratulated the appointees, saying: “Congratulations to all appointees. May you achieve success in your new roles.”

The appointments are expected to add to the capacity of the newly elected regional executives as they work to strengthen the party’s structures and operations across the Upper West Region.
