The Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw, has donated vocational equipment to apprentices and master craftsmen in the constituency to support skills training and enhance their livelihoods.

The donation includes 50 hand sewing machines, eight industrial machines, eight knitting machines and eight hair dryers.

Other items presented include eight industrial machines, eight knitting machines, eight hair dryers rulers, roulettes and sets of combs of different types to support apprentices and practitioners in their various trades.

The 50 hand sewing machines are specifically intended for apprentices, while the other equipment is expected to support both apprentices and master craftsmen in their vocational activities.

The support forms part of efforts by the Wa East MP to provide practical tools to young people undergoing vocational training and help improve their capacity to acquire and apply employable skills.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, the NDC Women Organizer in the district expressed appreciation to Dr Jasaw for the support and said the equipment would assist them in their training and businesses.
