President of Kalibi Sporting Club, Bernard Mornah, says his ambition is to establish the club as one of the premier football institutions in Ghana.

Mornah made the remarks after Kalibi Sporting Club was officially crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Upper West Regional Football Association Division Two League, securing promotion to the Access Bank Division One League.

He said the club’s achievement was the culmination of a journey defined by resilience, sacrifice, perseverance and unwavering belief.

According to Mornah, the club’s ambition goes beyond winning the Division Two League or gaining promotion to Division One.

“Promotion to Division One is not our final destination. Our ultimate ambition remains unchanged: to bring Premier League football to the Upper West Region and establish Kalibi Sporting Club as one of Ghana’s premier football institutions,” he stated.

Mornah congratulated the technical team led by Coach John Kandumah and praised the players for their resilience and determination.

He also urged the players to maintain their commitment as the club begins its journey in Division One and works towards achieving its long-term vision.
