Former NPP Wa Central Constituency Chairman, Osuman Abdul Hamid, has described his contribution to peace and unity within the party as one of his greatest achievements during his tenure.

According to him, his administration prioritised unity and peaceful coexistence among party supporters, helping to minimise conflicts and confrontations within the constituency.

“One of my greatest achievements, which I am particularly proud of, is contributing to peace and unity within the party,” he said.

Mr. Osuman Abdul Hamid noted that during his tenure, it was uncommon to see NPP supporters openly insulting or fighting one another, describing the achievement as the fulfilment of a commitment he made to the people.

“Throughout my regime, it was difficult to find NPP supporters trading insults or fighting. It was a promise to the people, and I am happy that we achieved it,” he stated.

He further emphasised the importance of peace as a foundation for development, stressing that political parties can only effectively pursue their goals when their members are united.

“I have always maintained that development thrives where there is peace,” Mr. Osuman Abdul Hamid added.
