The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Wa Central Constituency has appointed eight individuals to serve in various constituency officer positions, including former Youth Organizer aspirant Saeed Kangbeunang Hashim, who has been appointed as Deputy Youth Organizer.
The appointments were approved through a resolution passed at a meeting of the elected Constituency Executives held on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The appointments were made pursuant to Article 7(5) of the New Patriotic Party’s Constitution, 2025, as amended.
The newly appointed officers are Saeed Kangbeunang Hashim as Deputy Youth Organizer, Ajeed Rahat as Deputy Women Organizer, Tahir Ibrahim Tampoure as Deputy Organizer, and Huudu Abdulai as Deputy Nasara Organizer.
The others are Saandunee Salifu, who has been appointed Financial Secretary; Abdul Wahab Saadick, Elections Officer; Stephen Naah, Research Officer; and Osman Cynthia Mohammed, who will serve as PWD Coordinator.
Hashim’s appointment as Deputy Youth Organizer comes after he previously contested the Youth Organizer position in the constituency’s internal election but was unsuccessful.
His new appointment places him within the constituency’s leadership structure, where he is expected to support the Youth Organizer and contribute to the party’s activities among young members.
In a statement signed by the Wa Central Constituency Secretary, Abdulai Kpegla Issah, the elected Constituency Executives congratulated the newly appointed officers and expressed their readiness to work with them as members of the Constituency Executive Committee.
The appointments are expected to strengthen the constituency’s executive structure and support the party’s activities and operations in the Wa Central Constituency.
