Though his side succumbed in a high-scoring contest, Abdulai’s performance carried the weight of inevitability, as he stamped his authority on the Golden Boot race with clinical precision.

Across the competition, Abdulai has now amassed 18 goals in the 2025/26 Upper West Regional Division Two Middle League campaign.

Yet even with the curtain drawn on his season, he stands four goals clear of his nearest challengers, firmly anchored at the summit of the scoring charts and casting a long shadow over the remaining Golden Boot pursuit.

Behind him, the chase narrows. Yussif Bayanalabe, nicknamed Mbappé of Wa Sore Nante SC, and Mohammed Mabrouk (Costa) of Kalibi SC are locked on 14 goals each, set for a decisive duel that could shape the final standings. Daniel Osei, also of Wa Sore Nante SC, trails with 12.
