President of Kalibi Sporting Club, Bernard Mornah, has called for unity among football stakeholders in the Upper West Region following the club’s promotion to the Access Bank Division One League.
Mornah acknowledged that football is deeply emotional and that the fierce competition experienced during the 2025/2026 Division Two League campaign sometimes created disagreements among stakeholders.
He, however, stressed the need for stakeholders to move beyond their differences and work together to advance football in the region.
“Let us move forward united in our collective desire to develop football in the Upper West Region,” Mornah stated.
He said Kalibi Sporting Club’s achievement should be seen as a victory for the region and an opportunity for stakeholders to unite behind the development of football.
Mornah expressed gratitude to supporters, traditional leaders, religious authorities, corporate partners, the media, technical team and players who contributed to the club’s historic promotion.
